Our week started out with a day of learning about Ireland and Irish dancing.

Our teacher, Ms. Emily Crews, taught us some basic steps and how to keep our bodies straight, with arms at our sides.

On our second day, we learned a lot about India with our teacher, Ms. Nilimma Devi.

We worked on Indian dances, which use a lot of beautiful hand and arm movements.

On our third day, we moved to Africa, where we learned very dynamic dance movements.

Our teacher Ms. Sylvia Soumah brought some beautiful fabric and sewed traditional African wraps for us called lappas.

We loved wearing our lappas and felt more "in the spirit" doing our African movements.

On the fourth day, we learned some dance moves from Cuba from Ms. Sandra Atkinson.

Dancing with a partner is very different and it was lots of fun.

On our last afternoon, our parents were invited to come and see what we had learned.

We gave a dance presentation for our families and friends.

Our visitors even joined in on the fun!
