TWA Training Workshop - NEW!

• Are you TWA's NeXt Generation?
  

For the first time, TWA is opening its Training Workshop to KOW students without audition. This trial program starts in fall 2009 - but we wanted to give you a very special "heads up" about this Xciting news.

If you're ready to step up your tap Xperience, this class is for you! You'll Xperience higher level tap technique with Ms. Leanne, Xperiment with entry-level TWA choreography taught by TWA's current and alumni dancers, and Xplore professional performance skills with TWA's directors. You'll Xamine tap's history and see Xcellent footage of renowned master artists, enjoy Xhilirating master classes, and more!

Xtra special opportunities will include visits to a TWA dress rehearsal, a field trip to a TWA performance at a professional dance venue, and special backstage passes. You'll also participate in a special Training Workshop choreography project; the class will make a very special appearance at KOW's Student Showcase in June 2010!

To participate in Training Workshop, each dancer must:

• have completed one semester of Level Two and be recommended by your most recent KOW instructor, 
  
• submit a short (100 to150 words) statement about why you'd like to take this class, and
  
• commit to continuing your regular weekly KOW class.
  

TWA Training Workshop Calendar

Mandatory orientation meeting for parents and dancers:

Monday, September 21 at 7:15 pm

Session One: September 14 - December 12, 6:00-7:00 pm
Session Two: January 4 - June 12, 6:00-7:00 pm

Class Fees: Yet to be determined, but anticipated to be $600-700 for the entire year.
We hope tuition assistance will be provided for all class members through the Trawick Taps! Scholarship.
